Jerry Seinfeld knows a lot of funny people.  He also loves cars and loves to get coffee.  I know this because I’ve watched him drive funny people around in classy cars and go get coffee.  They talk about being comedians, where they get their material, and about their lives.  It’s a tiny peek inside the comedy world with honest conversations.

The first season featured Larry David, Alec Baldwin, and Michael Richards among others.  In the second season, which premiered two weeks ago online, he has already squired Sarah Silverman and David Letterman around town.  This isn’t new terrain.  Shows like Louie, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Seinfeld have dealt with the lives of comedians.  The difference here is the sincerity of the conversations.  These aren’t interviews.  They’re just friends getting coffee, cracking jokes, and having fun.

Delicious looking coffee, some bad ass cars, and comedians ruminating on life.  What’s not to love?  New episodes of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee appear online every Thursday at noon here.
