Grown Up Avenger Stuff is based out of Charlotte, NC with original sounds of indie and rock.  Many people compare them to Grace Potter and Dead Sara.  Their lead singer (Deidre Kroener) has been crowned best female vocalist by Creative Loafing Magazine with such unique vocals and vibrant energy.  Grown Up Avenger Stuff are currently touring the nation and booking festivals across the globe.

One of the tracks that I recommend off the album Sparkelton is, well, “Sparkleton“.  The song takes me to a familiar place.  It takes me to that intense and dramatic space that I would enjoy while listening to Florence and the Machine.  Deidre Kroener has a strong and powerful voice that dominates the track with emotion. I would say that it is one of my favorite songs off of the album and I definitely recommend this group to fans that enjoy listening to The Nocturnals and Queens of the Stone Age.
