After a highly successful first run in North America earlier this year, Sigur Rós announced yesterday that they will return to the United States and Canada in 2013. The tour will be Sigur Rós’ biggest North American tour in the band’s history, and will also reportedly be their most expansive live experience yet. Being that Sigur Rós is already famous for their awe-inspiring live shows, one can only wonder what the band has in store for fans this time around.

Ticketholders will also receive a free digital copy of the band’s upcoming three-track EP, which will be made available on March 22nd of next year.  Fingers crossed that it will include a studio version of Brennisteinn.
