The Dutch artist Anton Pieck has a vast body of work and his distinctive style is very well respected. Aside from his many prints (some of which are displayed here) he was responsible for designing an entire fairy tale theme park in Kaatsheuvel in the Southern part of the Netherlands. Efteling, the fairy tale theme park, is a unique place thanks to the imagination of Anton Pieck.
Anton Pieck‘s prints featured here should give one an appreciation for the style and skill that he applied to the Efteling park. His work ranges everything from scenes of classical Holland to Green Monsters and then when you least expect it: BAM! He’ll throw in a donkey pooping gold coins. (I’m not exaggerating.) Anton Pieck even has his own museum in Holland. If you ever find yourself in that part of the world, you should at least check out the Eftling theme park.
