I’ve been going through the Dare To Care Record’s Vimeo since I found Socalled yesterday. The label hosts a lot of amazing artists, which I will feature over the next few weeks. A video that stuck out for me today was “Mission Bells” by Armistice. The Collaboration between Beatrice Martin (of Coeur de Pirate) and Jay Malinowski (of Bedouin Soundclash), is whimsically gentle and bright. Their self-titled EP was released in the beginning of last year & it’s filled with a western echo with a hint of flamingo style string flicks that will keep you listening throughout the 5 tracks. Even though Beatrice and Jay have a wonderfully rich history with their respective bands, it’s their work on Armistice that really grabs my heart. It’s might be because it’s in English and I can actually understand it or it might be because it’s the boy/girl duo that I’m a freak for, all I really know is I want more. Please. Enjoy the video for now and expect more from the band soon. Oh their is a full stream of the EP on their Bandcamp page which I’ve included after the break.

I love pyramids, music, food, sleeping, laughing at people (in their face), and riding my bike (when I actually do it). I try to be a good person when i can, and an asshole when i need to be. I’ve been a mess most of my life and I’m not really trying to change that. :)
